Klein Law Prevails on Special Motion to Dismiss Defendant's Counterclaim in Land Court Proceeding

On October 15, 2020 Klein Law prevailed on behalf of its client on a Special Motion to Dismiss Defendant's Counterclaim pursuant to M.G.L. c. 231, s. 59H in the Land Court.  Klein Law represented the Plaintiff in a case involving claims for quiet title and trespass.  The Defendant filed a counterclaim that included a claim for abuse of process.  Klein Law filed a Special Motion to Dismiss the abuse of process counterclaim which was allowed by the Land Court following oral argument.  Shortly after this ruling, Klein Law obtained a favorable settlement for the Plaintiff that resolved the case.
